Pre-Arrival & Port Coordination

On-Board & Quayside Tallying
Our core strength lies in our strategic physical presence where cargo transfers
take place.
- Strategic Deployment : Highly skilled Tallymen are positioned simultaneously at critical points.
- Independent Counting : Continuous and impartial physical tallying to verify that the exact volumes and apparent conditions conform strictly to shipping documents.
Cargo Tracking & Warehouse Delivery
We extend our monitoring beyond the quayside to secure the entire inbound or
outbound port flow.
- Customs Warehouse Removal : Dedicated tallying during cargo removal from bonded storage to prevent losses.
- Final Delivery Verification : Deployment of tallymen directly at the receivers' or clients' warehouses to verify final discharge quantities and packaging integrity.
Reconditioning Supervision
At the client’s specific request, SEMAD S.A. oversees mitigation actions for affected cargo.
- Damaged Cargo Handling : Independent supervision of re-bagging, sorting, or reconditioning of damaged packaging (e.g., torn bags) at the quayside or in warehouses to minimize final loss.
Operational Highlights & Reporting
SEMAD S.A attends weighbridge operations to independently witness and record all truck weights, ensuring accurate weighing procedures and full compliance.
- Statement of Facts (SOF) : Continuous and precise recording of all operational events, delays, and stoppages throughout the vessel's stay.
- Instant Progress Updates : Real-time sharing of operational milestones and field updates via direct messaging channels, keeping clients informed hour by hour.
- Comprehensive Reporting Suite : Issuance of Daily Progress Reports, followed by a final Summary Report and an official Completion Report. Upon request, a detailed Narrative Report compiling all chronological events, figures, and technical overviews is delivered.
